Kvitne : od marca do mája.
Zber : Zbierame listy a kvetné úbory hneď ako sa rozvinú. Sušíme riedko rozložené pri teplote 35 stupňov. Schnú pomaly.
Úžitok : Osoží pri chorobách dýchacích ústrojov, napomáha látkovú premenu. Čerstvé listy dávame zvonku na obklady pri opuchlinách a svalových i nervových bolestiach.
Použitie :
Čaj proti kašlu : 2 čajové lyžičky drogy zaliať 1/4 litra vriacej vody, 10 minút nechať spariť. Piť 3 šálky denne, sladiť medom.
Obklady : čerstvé listy sa pomliaždia na kašu a prikladajú sa.
Inhalácia : jednu vrchovatú polievkovú lyžicu kvetov a listov zaparíme a paru vdychujeme pod uterákom.
Kúpele na nohy : Dve plné hrste listov zaparíme zodpovedajúcim množstvom vody, krátko vyluhujeme. Kúpeľ trvá 20 minút.
Poznámka : Nezamieňať s deväťsilom, ktorý sa často nesprávne pokladá za lopúch.
